Free for Global Education Center Members $75 for Non Members (Full Four Day Workshop) $25 for Non Members (Per Day) Join Global Education Center as we spend four days working together to create more culturally sensitive and inclusive classrooms that provide space for all children to learn, grow and succeed. To see the event schedule of events, please click here. The Global Education Center institutes are for teachers that need, and want, to explore the cultural traditions and values of the different students they teach. By educating these teachers about their students and their families they are better able to create an environment of inclusion and respect within their individual classrooms and throughout the whole school environment. We believe strongly that creating an inclusive and respectful school environment is one of the most effective tools for ending the bullying, the disrespect and the self-esteem problems evident in our schools today. The multicultural arts teachings of the Global Education Center offers a creative and engaging solution by promoting cross-cultural understanding and respect and by equipping teachers to better handle the diversity within their own classrooms. This event includes a simple breakfast and a cultural lunch. |
