Located in the Richland Park Arts and Business District, the GLOBAL EDUCATION CENTER is housed in historic Richland Hall at 4822 Charlotte Avenue and in the adjacent building at 4820 Charlotte Avenue. Built in 1894, Richland Hall retains the unique charm of its early days with beautiful hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and high ceilings with crown molding, yet contains the modern conveniences of an elevator and up-to-date fire and safety features.

Housed in the GLOBAL EDUCATION CENTER facilities are two large dance studios with sprung wood floors and mirrors, a cozy multicultural library occupying the second floor, office space on both first and third floors, a recording studio and two spacious store fronts facing Charlotte Avenue housing a third dance studio and our new community workspace, the Global Gathering Spot,  available to Global members and designed for artists, entrepreneurs, and other creatives.

Global South was opened in January, 2012 as our satellite studio with the opening of Casa Azafran Community Center. Global Education Center is the arts partner of this nonprofit collaborative that serves immigrant and refugee families.

Global South is the location for the multicultural music and dance classes of MNPS Casa Azafran Early Learning Center.. We also have classes for children and youth at this location with teaching artists and staff who are bilingual (English and Spanish), as well as classes for teens and adults.
