Festival of Lights

Celebrate the holiday traditions of our diverse Nashville community with the Global Education Center's Festival of Lights.
This community performance will include dancing, music and storytelling from the holiday traditions of Divali, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Advent, Ramadan and Las Posadas from local artists and organizations in Nashville.  

Each tradition, though from different religions and/or cultural groups, all share commonalities of hope, celebration and light. With an invitation to the WHOLE community we hope that we can all come together in celebration of our commonalities and respect for our differences.

Global Education Center's Latin Dance Group, Helios led by Dance Director, Alejandro Rivera
Global Education Center's African Dance Group, Nyama
Jewish Folk Dancers

Cohn School is located across the street from Global Education Center. Parking is available in front of the school, in the Richland Park Library parking lot as well as on the street. ​
Public transportation is also available with a Metro bus stop at Charlotte Ave.
