Festival of Lights
Saturday, December 2, 2017
$10 adults/$5 children, seniors & GEC members
Celebrate the holiday traditions of our diverse Nashville community with the Global Education Center's Festival of Lights.
This community performance will include dancing, music and storytelling from the holiday traditions of Divali, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Advent, Ramadan and Las Posadas from local artists and organizations in Nashville.
Each tradition, though from different religions and/or cultural groups, all share commonalities of hope, celebration and light. With an invitation to the WHOLE community we hope that we can all come together in celebration of our commonalities and respect for our differences.
